Hi,

MJ is not a Napster like software. MJ will help you organize and play the Music
that's on your computer as files of various formats (mp3, wma, wav, mpc, ape, etc...)

The first step is to get some music in those formats (mp3 beeing the most popular).
There is basicaly two ways to get music :
1/ you create mp3 files from your own CDs using MJ
This process is called ripping or copying of a CD
see more infos from within MJ with Help/How To/ Copy (Rip) CD

2/ You download mp3 files from the internet (Emusic.com for instance)
Just use a normal download procedure from one of the mp3 sites

Once you have some mp3 files lying in some directories on your Hard Drive
you should IMPORT those files inside MJ database.
To proceed : do Tools/Import Media.../
Select the Search Directory (Where your mp3s are located)
Press Start Search
Mj will scan your directories and fill its internal database with
the file names and various informations.

You Can now select the files and Play them.

More Infos in the Help File Help/Contents.

Hope this helps,

Also, welcome among the MJ users gang !
