Intel Core i 3/5/7 Series are capable of outstreaming lossless HD audio via Intel chipset HDMI display interface, so my PC can play music via HDMI without sound card. Foobar2000 does support WASAPI exclusive mode via Intel HDMI display device.
But, I cannot find 'Intel display' as a selectable device in WASAPI setting menu of MC16.
Does this mean MC16 don't support WASAPI exclusive mode with Intel HDMI display device?
I found that MC16 supports WASAPI shared mode by selecting 'Default' device with using Windows 'Sound' Control Panel.
But I think MC16 should support exclusive mode which provides better sound quality.
Please let me know how or when that is supported by MC16?

All available devices should appear in the 'Output mode settings...' dialog for WASAPI. Make sure the HDMI cable is plugged in and the device is on. Some audio devices don't appear until connected to something that's powered on.
This might help:

You should go to Tools>Options>Audio. At the top of the Audio settings (first setting) is Output mode. The drop down box should list about 7 choices with WASPI and WASPI Event Style being amoung them. Oddly, if you want to Bitstream you go to Tools>Options>Video (it is the third setting).

Resolved!!
I could find HDMI audio device when all connected devices are powered on and ready, as Malt and CountryBumkin say.
Thank you very much for quick comments. Very helpful!

Yeah, thanks, Malt! :) That has to be one of the funniest typos!
