Title: Modifying playlist view
Post by: shAf on September 18, 2011, 09:31:57 am
Lists are generally displayed as a simple list, list headers across the top ... and as such, my very large playlists are difficult to navigate.  Leastwise, it would be much easier to see the list of artists, genres, etc, if the playlist view could be modified for displaying similar to the library view (also the default view for devices), with categories (artists, genres, albums, ..) grouped and listed across the top.  Is this possible?

TIA :)

You can't make a playlist browse like the library.

But you can make a library view that browses playlists (in a pane, as a graphical category, etc.).  This is effectively the same thing.  And since you can combine playlist filtering with any other filtering, it's quite powerful.
