A minor detail but I would love to see it fixed.
In Categories view each album has all the elements of the view exposed including “File” on a MouseOver if one select the top of the tree.

Any descendent inside the tree including "All" only shows Play on a MouseOver.
Would like to see the same elements as in de definition of the view

It does show any applicable levels on a category thumbnail.
For example:
Genre thumbnail: Play Artists Albums File
Drill into a genre to an artist thumbnail:
Play Albums File
Please start a new thread if I'm not understanding, or if there's something special about your library view.

If I click on the root (Albums) I can choose 2 list styles; Thumbnails or Details
If I click any item below the root e.g. All Albums the List style switches to Album Thumbnails
In this case Play is the only option.
If I choose Thumbnails then the correct sub-menu appears at the expense of having a thumbnail per track.
Looks like this is specific for Album Thumbnails only
BTW: any item below the root has 4 different list styles
