Title: Gizmo as a Zone??
Post by: bunglemebaby on September 24, 2011, 05:09:06 pm
Is it possible to set up Gizmo on an Android so that it shows up as a separate zone?

Alternatively, is there a way to have Gizmo sync to the current playing now from the server? Or to move the current playing now from the server to Gizmo?

Thanks for any pointers. I think I've got the basics of Gizmo figured out, but I can't really tell what is available in terms of more advanced options. -JB

Gizmo isn't a zone, but if you connect to the server, you will be able to see the server's Playing Now in Gizmo.  This may only work if you choose to play on the server.

It would be very cool to see the "Android as Zone" functionality, or something similar (Android as DLNA DMR) so that I can hook up a phone/tablet to a receiver/tv and send music/photos/video to that device from my computer and control it from my computer.
