Title: Theater View shows my desktop
Post by: Ventoux on September 25, 2011, 06:36:33 pm
I'm setting up MC on my HTPC.

In Theater View my desktop background is showing through the Skin-"Obsidian" and I'm using the default theme.

Is there a transparency setting (I'm guessing in Options/Theater View) that will prevent this?
I've messed with almost all settings in Theater View, but can't get MC to not show a faint image of my desktop.

Thanks

This isn't a problem I've heard of before.

Is it possible the desktop is burned into your display (plasma, etc.)?

Could you share a screenshot showing what you're seeing?

Thanks.

Are you using the "glass" skin?

OK I fixed it.
I was using in standard view noire glass and then when in theater view using Obsidean.
Although standard view was not affected by the transparency issue - theater was with this combination.

thanks
