hi,
I had good experience working/syncing with ipod classic 120GB (syncing my music collection).
Now, I am thinking of buying IPAD2 for music/movie/E-books (PDFs mainly).
my question is, can I sync music/movies/E-books(PDFs) between MC and the IPAD2? are there limitations? things to consider?

No. Sorry. It's encrypted, so we don't support it.
Consider the Samsung Galaxy Tab (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=66117.0), a similar device that we do support. It's Android.

Hi Jim,
ok, I understand. I read some technical reviews on the comparison vs IPAD2. it is a good "replaement" choise
I read the link in your reply and saw you also have one, can you answer the following 2 questions?
1. Did you use it as a PDF reader (Is it convienient to read with), any reflections (light sources bouncing on the screen) issues?
2. Can MC16 sync docs such as PDFs with this device (Iknow I can just drop the files into the directory on the card but in MC it is automatic using the smartlists)?

I haven't tried PDF files. I will soon. The screen is great.
I don't know about sync. It should work. I'll try. MC works well with media files and Android.

It works with PDF. I had to add the pdf filetype to the list of files that MC treated as playable on the device. This is done in options of the Handheld Sync.
I also had to download Adobe Reader from the Android Market.

Thanks Jim,
this is great news.
I also found other applications on the market for android that will make my life easier to relocate to the galaxy tab.
I can't find QUICKen replacement though..
