Title: Theater View now has 3D Wall (Showroom) BUT...

this is only good for music albums because movie covers are not square images, and there is no setting to adjust that

at least there needs to be a fix for movie covers, but really why not just have dedicated views in Theater View for movies

Theater View does have default movie views under Video > Movies.

They aren't based on the 3d wall.  Maybe someday.
