We just uploaded some pages we've been working on.  Please report any errors:

If you see your name on the Quotes page and you don't want to be there, please say so.  For the rest who are willing, thank you.

A big improvement.

Except you seem to have forgotten about books.

My 10,000+ books are proof that MC is more than adequate for books (excepting epub and mobi).

Why not mention Red October HQ on the website (under Video and/or Home Theater)? Its one of MCs best featurers (IMO).

I think mentioning that MC uses LAV CUVID and MadVR will draw in some of the AVS folks who are familar with the products but struggling to get them working on their own.  It is mentioned in the Quote - but I think it needs to be in BOLD like you did for Red October (Standard). Emphasize that RO+HQ is for "those Enthusiasts with more powerful systems that demand the best ...".

Also, under Video>Television you are missing a space after "(EPG)". Just saying  ;)

I totally agree with escaflo here:

Quote
Even in Parallels, it is faster than iTunes!

iTunes is certainly far less horrible on OSX than it is on Windows, but MC still easily outperforms it even running in a Parallels VM.  It is nothing short of amazing (both how crappy iTunes is and how well MC runs).

The "Download it now" tile looks a little off.

I think the art needs to be bigger (or different art).  It looks off-balance because the art in the other tile on the same "row" fills its tile much more completely.

Other than that small detail, it looks very nice.  I like the design of a lot of the sub-pages too, generally, though I haven't read through the copy yet.

I'm no graphic artist but the new Logo looks kinda odd to me.
- It's not symmetrical, the "JRiver" text is not either Left or Centre Aligned with the "Media Center" text
- The fonts are different
- The JRiver seems overly vertically stretched
- The Logo seems like it should be aligned with the JRiver txt

But as I say - I have no idea....

Nice changes overall! The blue selection on the titles is not the coolest though.

I'll have to add that both Theater View and Video categories show the same stuff. It's a mix of images. This should be separated. And more impressive pictures of Theater View should be added.
And, I would still strongly suggest adding a photo gallery of many more screen shots. This is very often something people use before they decide to purchase.

Try a different browser.

Videos aren't finished.  They will be different.

You're right. Opera messed up and had the blue selections above the titles. Looks ok in IE.
Please consider using Opera to test the web pages as well. They are very dedicated to following standards. If it works there, it should work everywhere :)

Opera looks the same as Chrome and IE to me.

Maybe try a hard refresh (ctrl+refresh).

Thanks.  All occurrences of JRiver should be replaced by JRiver now.

What exactly is "All One Media"?
It's supposed to be an "in" there, or is it just my English that is failing here?

http://www.jriver.com/audio.html

You might add Gapless playback, a much appreciated feature.

Because the sound engineered into the CD is the sound you will hear when you play the audio.
A bit unlucky to tie this to the redbook format.
In principle MC allows you to play all the formats bit perfect including Hires.
Choice of drivers (ASIO, WASAPI, KS) to get a bit perfect path to the audio device.

I suggest your web designer go back and redo the "JRiver Media Center" logo/header. I know it was mentioned earlier in this thread - I'm just bumping this thread.

The revised website is great and long overdue. IMO. Now if you could just fix the logo... To me it doesn't have that "professional look" to it. Maybe just centering the titles would do it.

My suggsestion, to start, would be to align the "Media Center" under "JRiver", and perhaps use a different font for Media Center.

JRiver has always involved the member community as much as possible i think - Unless your mind is already made up, perhaps you could let the members submit some ideas (a jpg, png, or whatever you want showing their design) and then have everyone vote on what they like best.
Of course it's your company - so do it however you want.

Indeed the logo and the header it look really weird, to big and too ugly, this is how my idea come when thinking what to change on that part.
I know is not great, but i did this in a few minutes to see how it fit in the screen.

Thats a really great start! Of course everyone has their opinions, but I think your look is already "way better" than the current.
PS I still like the "button symbol" icon currently used but the rest is great. :D

I liked, but I prefer the "button symbol" icon currently used, also. I liked the font. The name forum in top, very good. Do you understand? I do not speak english.

I really like it, especially the front page.
One image seems to be missing on the "Net" slideshow subpage.

I do think there needs to be more screenshots showcasing the various subheadings on each of the pages.
