This is my first attempt to do this - after getting a Panasonic Viera GT60 TV: I can easily connect to Windows Media Player from the TV through DLNA, but I do not see the JR Media center as an option when I go to DLNA on the TV. I must be missong something basic, but I can't find anything. I have checked the box for 'Use media network to share this library and enable DLNA' in options. What else do I need to do. I am running MC 16.0.179.

DLNA has some advanced options you could try. Also try searching for Panasonic here.
A firewall is also a possibility. If you have another PC, try using MC on both sides.
-
What other options do you have set in Options -> Media Network?
-
Under advanced, I have DLNA Server, Renderer, and Controller boxes checked.
I am able to connect through DLNA Windows Media Player from another computer, the TV, or the A/V receiver, but none of these see JR Media Center through DLNA - I'm thinking it must be something wrong with the setup in JR MC. Any other ideas?

Forgot to mention - also tried turning off Windows firewall - didn't work.

What options do you have set on "Add or configure DLNA Servers..." -> Advanced?
From the command prompt, I trust netstat -an |find /i "listening"
will show the port listening.

Also, in MC you could try deleting and re-adding your DLNA server (under "Add or configure DLNA Servers..." ). That would clear out, then standardize the server parameters...
