Title: Live Long Disco!
Post by: KingSparta on May 22, 2002, 03:44:49 pm
If you don't know me

Call me weard, but i always liked Disco

Disco has that upbeat and lots of Brass sounds, In the 80's i would play Disco music (I played A Trumpet)

I am trying to remember all of the best Disco songs that we all liked back then so i can buy them and add them to my collection.

One of the best disco up beat tunes

Listening to: 'Bad Girls' from 'Greatest Hits' by 'Donna Summer' on Media Jukebox

It's not really disco, but I just got hold of Kung Fu Fighting by Carl Douglas (1974). I used to frequent a really good pub in South London at that time and this track and 'When Will I See You Again', Three Degrees were just about the only tracks that were ever played on the jukebox (a Rockola if I remember correctly). Great music to accompany the many gin and (few) tonics that were imbibed on a nightly basis. Ah, the good old days !!!!

Back in my time, all those years ago, when it was the 'Mods'and 'Rockers' Era,in the UK, we used to listen and dance to the sound of Gino Washington and the Ram Jam Band. Anyone else remember them???  Great Days.

But unfortunately, King has the power to make it go on... Next Page

I could always just remove the thread entirely, but I don't want my first official act to be an abuse of power. Next Page

I'm looking for a white Polyester suit. Anyone got one? MUST HAVE LAPELS THE SIZE OF SEMI-TRUCK MUD FLAPS. Also, has to be so tight that a paint job would be jealous. Need side zipper boots, too. Preferrably black, but anything that is shiny will do. Please post picture at : Media Jukebox Interact. Would really like to see YOU model this costume!!!
