When trying to play recorded TV (recorded using MC16) MC17 plays it at an increased speed (like 50* or something). I've checked DSP Studio and the tempo isn't adjusted in there. Very weird.
To follow on, this is only happening on some recorded programs. It doesn't happen on anything recorded with MC17, and only on some recorded with MC16.
However when playing on a Client PC across the network using MC17 both sides it still happens on the same recordings. the recording format is JTV.

You are not the only one.....rpalmer68 is also having similar issues....stay tuned

Yep, I'm seeing it too.
The only MC16 recordings playing OK for me are really old ones recorded back in Feb 2011.
I have uploaded a sample recording for the JR team to look at, so hopefully we'll get to the bottom of it.

Sorry to hear you have the same problem - but I'm glad I'm not the only one!!

I'm waiting for Jmone to test the sample I uploaded, then maybe there will be three of us :)

Maybe try Red October Standard, and also switching audio outputs in Options > Audio.
I'm not seeing this with my ATSC recordings. I haven't tested the recording you uploaded yet, but will Monday in the debugger.
Thanks.

Tried RO,ROHQ,and all audio output formats. No change I'm afraid.

Same
Does the log file I uploaded show anything ?

Same here: old jtv recordings from MC16 play at high speed in RO Std, don't play at all in ROHQ. I also had a problem with a jtv recording from MC17 with no audio, but forcing ffdshow audio in 'RO with Additional' fixed that.

The old jtv issue has been fixed for the next build.

Confirming this issue is fixed for me in the latest build.
Thanks
Paul.
