Is there any other information plugin available for Movie info other than PVD??

Actually I love PVD its just that sometimes it doesnt work.I have not been able to download posters for ages.  :'(

I've answered your post to the PVD forum. While there may be some issues with one or two of it's plugins, there's generally nothing wrong with it's ability to import posters.

There is the MyMovies Plugin.

I haven't used MyMovies in MC and when I did in SageTV found it confusing to setup and use. But that's been quite awhile and perhaps they have made it more user friendly. I wont be able to help you here if you try it but there may be someone else that can.

Or you could just wait. I believe that in the life cycle of MC17 there will be some kind of automatic scraping developed (A lot of us sure hope so anyway!).

I spoke to Brian B from Mymovies regarding getting a Mymovies plug-in for JRiver - he believes that the JRiver user base is not big enough for it to make sense for them to develop a plug-in - go figure! ? I for one would be willing to pay for the plug-in

MC17 now has automatic scraping and is returning some good metadata. I'm curious what you would get from a MyMovies Plug-in that MC is not now giving you?
