Title: Line-In CD vs CD-Rom??

I want to get the best recording quality possible through my Hi-Fi system. If I recorded CD's using my £1800 Arcam CD player optically into the soundcard, would I get a better sound that just using my PC CD-Rom to record the WAV's?

If your PC's CD drive is set to "digital playback" in MJ, you will get digital in.  I can't imagine how you could do better.
