Title: JRiver - Ghost in the machine - Unwanted Startup

I have been wanting to trial JRiver Media Center. It looks somewhat promising although a bit overwhelming in comparisons to 7MC and having both JRiver and 7MC on the machine seems to be an issue for me. Even though I think I've turned of the remote control settings in JR Media Center it keeps starting up in the background and I get Theater View coming up when I go to guide or menu. Also, when this happens or when JR Media Center is running in the background it causes issues with 7MC (sound and video glitches). For now I've rolled back to a restore point prior to installation but would take another stab at it if I can trial JRiver without it being so disruptive to 7MC in the mean time... Any advice is appreciated.
