Title: MC 16 / Ayre DX-5 / Inconsistent playback using wasapi & Windows 7

I have mp3, wav, flac & aif files in my library. Ayre DX-5 shows 96kHz & 44 kHz files on the display. Sometimes playback is smooth but more often a flac file will play for 15 seconds and then stop. Often only 1 or 2 seconds of a song are played. I previously had Media Jukebox and upgraded to Media Center to play hi-rez files.  Any input would be appreciated.

You might try WASAPI Event Style (Options > Audio).

Thanks for that info - everything is working well now. I saw the event style in the window but couldn't find much information on it and most directions suggested using wasapi.
