I have used Gizmo very successfully for a while via my Netgear DG834 router.
Recently added a Linksys E3000 to add 5GHz WiFi, with the Netgear DG834 now acting as just an ADSL modem.
However I can no longer register my server on J River website, but get an error message saying that I need to enable port 52199 to accept incoming traffic.
As far as I can tell it is not blocked anywhere, but am wary of experimenting too widely with router setups to resove this.
On the wired PCs in the house, I can get round this by specifying the IP address:port number in lieu of the access code (and nailing down the server PC IP address on the router).
But I can't enter the IP address:port number on Gizmo on my android phone, and thus cannot access Media Centre.
Is there any way to tell Gizmo to use a specific IP address:port number?

You don't need to open any port to register. I'm not sure what the problem is.
