Title: Tagging dsf files
Post by: rael71 on November 04, 2011, 10:58:26 am
Hello, I'm from Italy and this is my first post here.

I recently bought MC 17 and I have a question about dsf files tagging (I know that only dsf files (not dff) can contain tags)

I tagged some dsf files from MC 17 and I gave them to a friend but when he opened MC 17, it showed the files with empty tags.

Is there a way to really tag dsf files so that when I transfer them to another pc they will retain their tags and also a way to rename them from files tag?

If not I'd like to know if this feature is planned for the future or if someone knows another software that can do that.

Thanks!!!

Bye!

Andrea

DSF tagging isn't currently supported.

Do you have any information about what tagging format they use?

Thanks.

It seems they use ID3V2.

I found this link that might be useful.
