Title: Cannot install MC 17 as portable installation.

I just purchased MC 17 and I am trying to install on my laptop. Every time I try to install it, I get a message “In order to install on this computer you must have License/Key installed on this machine”. I copied the Key in same dir where I am trying to install this software but it did not help me. Any advice on how to install this software as portable install? Thanks

That sounds like a Portable Install.  You must do a regular install first and then it must be licensed.  See the Purchase link for how licensing works.
