Title: XBox 360 Media Center Extender?
Post by: GadgetBoy on November 08, 2011, 05:40:45 am
I noticed in the "Playing Now" section, there is a option to play to "XBox 360 Media Center Extender".

I have four Xboxes in my house - is it possible to push content to the XBox?

You can "pull" content from MC if you turn on Media Network in options.  I don't think you can "push" to it.

I moved your post here.  You could search for more on Xbox here.

MCE is essentially a link between Windows Media Player and the Xbox 360. Now Windows Media Player appears to be presenting this link as a DMR (renderer).
I'd say, give it a try. Start by dragging and dropping an mp3 from your audio collection to that "XBox 360 Media Center Extender" in playing now and see what happens.
