Win7 Home Professional 64 bit.

I rebooted both the server and my phone several times. I also tried both wifi and 3g. No luck.

mp3's play fine. When a flac file is requested, it hangs for a while and then I'm on the bus.

I've tried messing with the Audio Conversion options in Media Network, turning it from Convert Audio If Necessary to Always Convert Audio. I also messed around with stack ordering to no avail (Does gizmo access access stack files when converting)? Not sure what else to try.

I rolled back to 17.0.27 and it started working right away. No problems.

Post by: contium on November 09, 2011, 04:45:40 pm: I'm having problems here as well. The flacs will play for about 3 or 4 minutes and then skip to the next track every time. Mp3 files play fine. Will roll back and test.

I'll try and get a log file from the server for you if you need one, but it's not pretty and seems to mess my phone (HTC Desire) up, leaving Gizmo showing only a black screen and slowing it down drastically, using nearly 3 Mb of phone memory (I think)

How's that for precise, quality feedback!!

16.0.179 is what's on the Marketplace, and is what's on my phone. Is that the most up-to-date version?

Post by: Mediahome on November 10, 2011, 01:14:07 pm: This sounds similar to the problems that I have had with 17.0.031 streaming to my Roku SoundBridge. My library is FLAC and is transcoded on the fly to the Roku. With 17.0.031 I started getting all kinds of bizarre errors. Songs would stop mid-stream and go to the next. Songs would "keep playing" after the end with the track length counter going up beyond the length of the song. Most of the time that track does not even play and I get an "Unable to play song" or "Unable to play UPnP song" error.

This does not occur when playing to a wired zone where FLAC is not transcoded.

17.0.33 fixed my issue with streaming .flac files to Gizmo. Thanks!
