Title: DLNA Convert audio option
Post by: jeannoel on November 10, 2011, 01:09:40 pm
Hello,

I have some question. I try MC15, MC16 and MC17 but i have the same resulte. If i select "Allways convert" or "convert unsupported formats" my WMA is converted.

If i use "never convert" i can read FLAC, WMA, PCM, MP3 like my receiver Yamaha RX-V1067 can read in DLNA.

I do something false or this programme is buged for all version..

Regards

JN

Always convert will convert everything.
Convert unsupported will convert everything other than MP3 and LPCM (these two are required to be supported by DLNA).
If the PS3 or WMC advanced options are selected, the convert unsupported option will try not to convert files that the PS3 or XBOX 360 can play natively.
