Title: Static in every setting with Xonar HDAV 1.3

W7 w/latest Asus Hdav driver.  9800gt, Onkyo 605.  Tried Red Planet BD set to Red October and as subject states, all static.  Other posts concerning Xonar seem to generally work.  I'm afraid after trying multiple settings too many may be changed.  Is there a setting that is known to work and is there a reset to default?  Thanks

The trial worked fine with AMD but hoped I could make this shine with the HDAV.

Thanks for the link.  I'll try lpcm, hopefully it won't be downsampled.

Well, today I get no static but no sound at all for folders/iso/bd/dvd/mkv on any setting.  Audio files work.  Failed to connect audio renderer to audio decoder with every setting.

I installed MC17 on my XP system 9600gso w/Xonar Slim.  Audio works but also with static for recorded tv ts/trp files in all audio settings.  Audio play fine.  I understand these are tied to TMT for HD bitstreaming but I thought it would work for other video.
