Hi
I have a problem with the focus of the gui. If a program steals focus from MC, the only way I can get MC back in focus is by clicking on the icon in the task bar. Clicking on the MC window does not give focus back to MC, like it does on most other programs.
Can this be fixed?

The only time I've seen that is when MC has opened another window, as happens for instance, with the Options.
If that's not it, there may be a problem with something unrelated to MC.

Hi
I have the same problem on 2 different windows 7 machines.
Any notification in the task bar steals focus from jriver, and the only way to get it back is to click on the icon in the task bar.
I also have strange behaviour of the DSP studio window. It often disappears behind the main MC window and is difficult to get back. I have to minimise the main window. Just clicking on the DSP studio icon doesn't give it focus.
I do not have this problem with any other program, and it has happened on all versions for MC from version 15.

Are you using MC17? 17.0.33 is on this board.
Are you using any special programs that are screen related?
What notifications cause this?
-
Hi
I have purchased MC17 but whave only installed it on one machine for testing. The problem is no different to the previous versions.
The notifications that mainly cause this are windows update and anydvd hd update notifications.
The only screen related program I can think of is teamviewer client for remote desktop control. But this is only on one of the PCs
Would a complete uninstall of the old versions before installing MC17 help?
I cannot find any always on top or start maxmised settings. Do these exist?
