Title: Fancy-bitrate WAV support on MJ8 ?!?
Post by: Ce.D on May 20, 2002, 10:52:22 am
Hi there,

I have to play quite regularly WAV file with another bitrate than the usual 44.1kHz/16bit... and MJ8 screws it! On MJ7, the solution was to remove the WAV plug-in so as to force the download of the latest WAV plug-in (and then it worked)... but this solution does not work on MJ8 since trying to download again the WAV plug-in results in a "only DSP & audio plug-in can be download"-message-of-some-sort...

Any clue to solve my problem ? (PS: I have NO WAY to have the given files sent to me in another format...)

Thanks

Ce.D

The error message you mentioned about plugins should only happen when you use the Add Plugin option in Plugin Manager. If you just go to the plugin page and download the plugin, MJ's Package Installer should download it and install it just fine.
