Title: can't add data cover art as client

I have all my permissions set to update the server when I load it's library on my laptop.
I just tried to paste some covert art to a data file and it didn't work.
I even changed the file location on the server to be on that computer, ie \\HTPC\MC\Covers and tried again to no avail.

Is this an operation we cannot do on a client?
