running 16.0.181, where is the option for disabling screen saver?

I think you need to post more details about what you're trying to do.

Fullscreen video playback automatically disables the screen saver.

You could search in options (top right) for 'screen' to see other options.

already tried searching for screen saver which comes up with disable in theater mode, that's it.

I have several monitors and am using the detached function and screen is maximized.  Also to clarify, am talking about watching a movie and then having the screen saver kick in in the middle of the movie.

never was a problem in earlier version although can't tell you exactly which one, screen saver never came on while watching a movie but now does
