Title: Media Center 17.0.46 playing [sound] stops.

Last two days with occasional occurence before this update, during playing of sound the media center appears to stick [anywhere along track]  e.g. 2.01-2.02 secs. It appears to keep attempting to play but does not move past whatever point it sticks.

MC is set up on this pc to play via an external M-Audiophile sound card connecting to my house Hi-Fi and then into main room.this has never been a problem.
Checking the W7 set up everything appears OK and the M-Audio appears satisfactory as well, so conclusion is it is an MC software issue, and or set up I am missing.
Stop/Start of MC still creates this sticking situtaion.
