Title: Feature Request: Remote Reording of "Playing Now"
Post by: w0wbagger on December 08, 2011, 02:12:17 pm
Hi - I was wondering if there are any plans to allow a WMC controlling the library server to re-order/remove from the "Playing Now" list.  If I set up a playlist on the server, I'm stuck with it however it gets added. It won't let me remove inadvertently duplicated songs or change the order of the songs, so I'd have to start over completely.
Thanks,
I.

Do you mean WMC, as in Windows Media Center?

Or are you controlling one copy of JRiver Media Center with another copy of JRiver Media Center?

Thanks.

Coming in 17.0.50 and newer:
NEW: When controlling a remote Media Center zone, reordering, deleting, and shuffling Playing Now is fully supported.

Just to be clear, this only applies to using JRiver Media Center, not WMC.

Sorry for being unclear.  I am using exclusively JRiver Media Center, which I incorrectly abbreviated.

That is, I'm using JRiver Media Centre (client) to play songs on the Library Server (playing to There:).

Based on your most recent message (coming in 17.0.50), it appears you have solved this problem.  Time to upgrade!
Thanks so much,
I.
