Title: How can I find ....
Post by: markus_kr on December 11, 2011, 04:28:04 am
Hello,

when I play a large playlist somtimes I´m scrolling (in the detailed listing)
The problem that I have then is to find again the current played song.
Is there are a kind of shortcut, hotkey... with which it is possible to jump to the current played song?

best regards
Markus

This works in standard view at least: Click on Playing now in the left pane. I've added a toolbar 'Playing Now' button I use. I'm not sure of a method for Theater view, I'm only using it for Video...

Add a second Tab, and navigate to Playing Now in that tab.  Leave this tab available, and you can switch to it easily either by hot-key (Ctrl + Tab), or w/a mouse click.  There is a setting in Options to re-open MC, preserving the last locations (Startup > Startup Interface > Location Last Location).

See Keyboard Hot-keys (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Keyboard_Hot-keys) for more info.
