Marty, to bring up all the songs that have never been played, use the keyword:

Lastplayed=>9999999

Then you can add a rule using an artist name to get all by that artist that have not been played.

Thanks Holden, but I already know that "hack"
But since JRiver (the best company in the world ) added numberplayed, I've been using that..
