KingSparta, you have the Aiwa MP3 CD Player in your car/truck like I do, Do you burn CD's in standard MP3 format to play on it or have you used other versions like APE. I was just wondering if it will still play the other modes of MP3.
Thanks

I have tested VBR and CBR versions of MP3's from 32kbps to 320Kbps
it does not display the correct play time of VBR files, but it plays them Just fine
APE is not supported on any car audio or mp3 player that i know of, Matt might know if anyone supports APE in a hardware format.

OK,, thanks. I will bug Matt latter on that.

Just curious if anyone has experience with this ? Was checking out some other stuff for car audio when I bumped into this gizmo. The interesting thing is it plays OGG format. Have not seen any others that do so, yet.

Looks like a trip to Audio King is in order. Good excuse to check out other toys as well.
