Title: Oversampling filter
Post by: amitm on December 13, 2011, 01:25:25 pm
Any information on what filters are used for oversampling/"resampling"? Even a guidance is helpful.

Also, is it possible to put in my own filter coefficients post oversampling to "custom equalize"?

Thanks.

You might explore DSP Studio > Parametric Equalizer.

Thanks! I will look into it. I have not bought the software yet, but will download the trial version and try it out.

I am also just getting started with computer audio and want a signal processing friendly software engine if I could. Hence the questions.

Media Center can load VST plugins that can mess around with audio at that level.

There's some neat free VST plugins here that you might find interesting: RS-MET Freebies (http://www.rs-met.com/freebies.html)
EasyQ is a neat parametric EQ.  My favorite EQ.
There's an EngineersFilter, Function Shaper, and Signal Analyzer as well.
