Title: Problem with daytrotter

I added www.daytrotter.com to my Audio -> connected media, but the controls that govern pause/play etc don't work.  It works fine in Google Chrome.

I think it has something to do with the built-in browsers java functionality?  Any suggestions?

MC can use Chrome as its browser.  You might try that to see if it's better.
