Title: Music files won't import into Media Center

Hi all,
I've been experiencing this problem recently. All of a sudden, my Media Center 16 has stopped importing any new music files I put into my auto-import folder. I have 995 files anyway if that helps anyone. I've tried doing it manually and it still doesn't import any of my new .mp3s. Also, I do not want to drag my new .mp3s in manually as the file location will differ to the rest of my library. Does anyone know how to get my Media Center to start importing my new files automatically again?

Welcome to the forum.

It's possible they've been imported already.  Try a search.

It's possible you've deleted them.  Import settings have an option to import previously deleted files.

It's possible you aren't importing MP3 file types.  Check the auto-import settings for the folder.  Tools/Options/Import/Autoimport.  Select a folder and choose Edit.

Thanks, turns out it was the last thing you said the files were m4a.
