Title: Uploading smartlists into android phone
Post by: SteveR on December 17, 2011, 07:17:00 am
Is it possible to create a FLAC smartlist in MC17 (or 15 for that matter) and then download it into Poweramp on a galaxy S2 running gingerbread 2.3.5?

How do I do this? If I can find a way then I really can throw my ipod away for good!

Yes in both MC15 and MC17.  Just plug it in and try dragging a few files to it.  Check the options if you have trouble.

You can sync to an Android using Media Center.

In Options > Handheld, pick the playlists and smartlists you want to sync.

Then use the Sync Handheld Action Window.

You can also do manual (drag-n-drop) transfers if you don't want to sync.

[edit -- cross-post with Jim; he's too fast]

Thanks for the quick replies. I want to sync over a wireless network so I don't have to connect the pone to the PC with a cable (that I can never find)

I have tried several way to sync over a wi fi network, but whilst I can stream from the PC to the phone, I can't download the files from the PC onto the phone. Is the only way to connect the phone to the PC and do it that way?
