Title: Netflix in Canada

Will Netfix ever work in Canada?  It doesn't work with WMC 7 here in Canada either.  I can't find a couch friendly interface.  Any suggestions?

Bump... I think XBMC can make it happen in Canada.

Come on, it's not like the US portal uses a totally different API than the CA one. You just need to let us select a different authentication server, right?  Or what's the technical problem here Jim?

Second the *bump*. Lots of devices (like the WD TV Live Plus) work just fine with Netflix in Canada. I'd love a remote friendly solution on a PC!

I can get Canadian netflix in through my WD Live box and through my Samsung BD player.  It sucks that software clients still can't connect!

Hello

I have just installed MC onto my Asus AMD Fusion E35M1 and a separate Geforce 6500 video card so I can output via S-Video to my older Sony Trintron TV. I am running windows 7 sp1 with the latest updates.

I am trying to get the netflix Canada to work in theatre view.

I have checked my computer locale and have set everything I can find to Canada.

When I try to initiate Netflix via Tools > Options > Services > Netflix > Manage Netflix account... >  Connect to Netflix Account... I do not get any login screen.

If I try to do the same for Last.fm or Hulu I get taken to some sort of login method. I have tried version 149 and now 155.

I can get Netflix to run in the media center browser.

What is up?
