Here's my reply to your previous post:
down4jazz,
Please describe the setup.
Make sure wireless is on if your connection is local.
If it is not local, you're using the cell phone's data connection. Check the wiki topic called "Network Access (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Network_Access)".
On the server, under Media Network, there is a test. Try it.
Firewall needs to be open on 52199.
-
Use Media Network to share is checked.
Access Key is populated.
Authentication for my username/password is showing and correct.
Port: 52199
I don't see anyplace to test, plus the Window in the wiki is nothing like what I see in 16 version.
-
Testing is under Media Network options.
-
You click on your access key in the Media Network options and a menu of options comes up, one of which is test connection.
-
States that I can't connect via the internet which I expected...kinda
Under library, I don't see an option for "Connect to library". Maybe version 17??

Please try the Network Access (http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Network_Access) topic on our wiki. I just added a little more to it.
Under library, I don't see an option for "Connect to library".
Aren't you trying to connect from Gizmo? Click on the top bar for your options.
Does Gizmo accept the Access Key? Is there a typo in it?
-
Yes, I'm attempting from my Phone running Gizmo. Key is correct. I hit "Go". I goes through many "Attempting connection" and finally comes up w/ "There was a problem connecting..."
I deleted the Key and generated a new one w/ the same results.

Make sure the key doesn't have a typo.
