Title: What does analyze audio do?

See through the forums statements that Analyze Audio does many things: volume leveling, tag updating, thumbnail creation.....    Some of this seems not to be true.  What is the real, complete description of Analyze Audio?  Thanks.

It will determine Replay Gain/Album Gain, Peak Level, BPM, and Intensity.  These tags will be updated provided you have MC default behavior of writing tag data to files.
