Title: How does one recombine an album

For some unknown reason my latest ripped album appears by artist as 5 separate albums...How does one combine them into what was intended. I can do it in the playlist section but how does one do it in the album view??

I think the algorithm to check for the album if it is complete dosn't get it if the files are in different folders even when they are tagged the same

Right.  Make sure the Album tag is exactly the same for each track.  Select all tracks, and set the Album track.

As far as I know JRiver thinks tracks belong to the same album if Album and Album Artist are the same

Would be nice, but simple NO this is not the case..MC is also checking where the data is stored (see my post before)

Did a simple experiment.
Created a new folder on the same HD and moved half of the tracks of an album to the new folder.
In Album view all tracks still belong to the same album.

what does album type say "complete single artist" or "incomplete sa"?
