How do i rip a CD to Flac??
-
Just put the CD in and wait. MC will ask what you want to do. Choose Rip. Then set the options you want.
Welcome to Interact.

It only asks me to "Take No Action'; "Rip CD" or "play CD". When I click Rip it starts ripping. No dialogue at all.
-
Click around before you press the Rip button.
You can also set the options for encoding in Tools/Options/Encoding.
I encourage you to explore the options. You won't remember it all, but it will give you an idea of what is available.

I've forgotten, but this seems like the Windows auto-detect dialog. You can Take no Action. Inside Media Center, select Drives & Devices in tree, select the CD/drive and you'll see a Rip button. You'll see a link for options in the lower left action window too. Or use Options > CD, DVD & BD.
