At the moment there are three options for conversion of video onto my handheld. I wanted to use mp4 but the audio is coming across terribly. Is there a means and method for adding conversion settings/options. I am happy to enter text into xml files or whatever else works, doesn't need to be graphical. I read some previous posts from V14-15, but in V17 there is no longer a ffmpeg plugin directory or xml files (there is only one for wmv). I presume ffmpeg is now consumed within RedOctober and it is no longer a required plugin.
So how do I set conversion options so I can use JRiver. Surely I don't have to resort to handbrake, smartlists etc.??
