Is it possible to add more Images into the metadata?
Like for Actors and Directors and so on.
The work done by http://www.mediabrowser.tv collecting images for these extra metadata is great.
I'd like to use it inside J Media Center some how.
Thanks
Scott

Trailer viewing looks cool too!

Also to be clear.
At the very least i'd like to figure out how to add the extra images to the metadata inside jriver.

A better link for this topic may be http://www.thehtpc.net/cip/
It seams the project is not going well. But they still have a huge library of content.

I would love to know How the developers feel about adding this kind of feature.
There seems to already be added support for artist images. It would seem like a fairly easy jump to adding this for a more generic images for any artist. Not just music.
Thanks

I have asked a few times about this - images for actors, directors, composers, conductors, soloists, bands and even genre, places, events. I think it should be quite an easy thing to do as it could be done the same way as for artists images. So far no luck! But with the improvement of theater view they might reconsider this feature some time ahead.
It would be nice to click on the image of an actor and see all the movies available for that actor, same with composers, conductors etc.
Recently they have expanded the artist and genre fields to list fields which has been asked for many years, so there is hope :D

Yes, this have been mentioned from time to time. There is Director, Actor, Artist and similar categories of data/bios' and images on many sites. Taking advantage of all of this would be just brilliant.
Example: Selecting one actor in Theater View would bring you to it's bios page. And from here you could browse more movies by this actor. You could have own views for this sort of things, and you could browse by Directors, Actors, Composers and learn more about them, or choose to list their work.
This sort of things would be wonderful for the music experience. To be able to read more about the artists, read reviews of albums you're listening to etc.
