So i just upgraded from MC 14 to MC 17 (17.0.50) and am regretting it. I have two main issues.
1) The music skips about once a track, there never seems to be a reason (i.e. other programs hogging memory). I have the buffering slider all the way to the left (most skip resistance) but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I never had this problem with MC 14.
2) Also, when i add an album to Playing Now, i.e. tracks 1 through 9, the tracks show up in Playing Now in an order such as 1,4,3,2,5,6,8,7,9. I have no idea why it isnt adding album tracks in order. Again, I didnt have this problem with MC 14.
Anybody have solutions?
Thanks

Try changing audio settings. DirectSound, for example. Try reducing the buffer. See the "Weird Problems" link in my signature for more ideas.
Shuffle on? One of the 3 little buttons in the upper right corner. Are you adding from MC? Or from Explorer?

Shuffle is off, I'm adding from the library, not from explorer.

Changing to DirectSound seems to have stopped the skipping. Sucks tho, I used ASIO on MC 14.
The track order issue remains, intermittently, some albums are ok, others are off.
