Title: DVD rip to mpeg4

Hey all,

How do I go about ripping DVD video to mpeg4 or avi?  Can I do it wihtin MC17?  If not, what program(s) do you recommend (preferable free)?

I think the best choice is Handbrake, it is free and easy to use.
I converted 1000+ ripped DVD's to h264 without any hiccups. You can include multiple audio tracks and multiple subtitles in the converted files.
