Title: Rating in m4a files
Post by: TOM_SZG on January 02, 2012, 10:23:39 am
I will convert my FLAC files to ALAC, so that i can import the files in iTunes. Mediacenter 17.0.60 cannot read the values from the m4a file in the ratings field and is storing the rating information to the field ITUNESADVISORY and not to the Rating-field. Why? Bug?

Regards Thomas

I'm having the same problem with MC and ratings in ALAC *.m4a files. It has to be a bug, and I'd love to see it fixed.

Please send a sample file to matt at jriver dot com, and I'll take a look.

Thanks for the sample.

In a coming build:
Fixed: Rating tags were not being properly supported for M4A files.

Testing appreciated.
