Title: MJ won't read (digital) from my SAMSUNG DVD-ROM SD-612

I got no response the first time, I'll try again.  MJ gets "Failed to open drive - Parameter out of range" error when trying to play (digital) or rip from my SAMSUNG DVD-ROM SD-612 drive. It works fine on my SAMSUNG CD-R/RW SW-408B drive, however.  Other programs (eg: Real Jukebox 2 Plus, Windows Media Player 7.1, etc. have no problem with either device.  I've changed the device parameters and checked the ASPI as suggested in FAQs.  I'm using Windows98 SE.  Please, an answer this time.

you may also need to tell them what version of MJ you have, 5, 6, 7, 8.0.273 is the latest

not sure if that will help but it will not hurt.
