M-audio fast track pro, win7
Tried asio, wasapi (both), exclusive, direct, with big/small buffers
Movies start ok and all of the sudden sound gets distorted, like bass is becoming trable and speakers giving weird noises
Tried any option both in audio and video setting
Movie types tested 720/1080 mkv
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Did you make the mkv files yourself ? I mean is the audio streams in the files without errors ?
Tell a little more on how your audio is configured. Do you play directly on the PC or are you using some kind of surround receiver ?

Nothing corupted, movies plays well with other programs and ive tried atleast 10 different movies
Soundcard is output to crossover with 2 balanced XLR outputs, crossover cuts and outputs to 2 speakers via amp and one huge bass with another amp
Music sounds well, with and without jriver

Can you test a simpler configuration or a different sound card? Just to see if the problem is related to the sound card.
Describe the cabling and whether you're using bitstreaming.
Try another DirectShow player

Maybe MC is decoding the surround sound but you have only connected left-front and right-front speakers. You could be missing the center channel.
You could try to let MC downmix the surround signal to two speaker output.

It might be related to soundcard but its working everywhere else (winamp, media player classic, mediaportal)
sound is down mixed to stereo, always in my configuration
Ive tested Playing to the tv via hdmi, works well i think, thays how i survived till the end of the movie
