Title: iTunes DRM Movies
Post by: sfric on January 06, 2012, 11:03:54 am
I'm really lost about whether or not I can actually play my movies that I formerly played in iTunes.  They are m4v.  They were either purchased through the iTunes Store or Digital Copies that I got when I purchased the Blu-Ray Movie.  They play just fine in Quicktime.

I imported a movie and when I play it I get the following error message:

"Failed to connect Audio decoder to source / splitter"

Any help would be truly appreciated.

***EDIT*** I set the m4v file type to use External Program (default) and now it plays in Quicktime, which is good enough for me  :)

I'm having the same issue. I haven't associated them with Quicktime yet. I'd rather just play via MC.
Anyone?

oops. Didn't notice this was in the v16 forum.
I'll post in v17.
