It's now a while i'm searching for a such option, and i did not find it : A way to basically control JRiver directly in the taskbar, as Windows Media Player 9 & 10 and iTunes do.
I'm not talking about the "Windows 7 Taskbar Plugin http://accessories.jriver.com/mediacenter/mc_data/plugins/images/small1027.jpg (http://accessories.jriver.com/mediacenter/mc_data/plugins/images/small1027.jpg)" wich allow to previous stop next music in the preview.
There some screenshot what i'm searching for.

Or, in another way, a plugin like "Playing Now" (http://accessories.jriver.com/mediacenter/mc_data/plugins/images/pn_small.jpg), but still compatible with JRiver 16/17.
Does a such way exist ?
Thank you all.

"Playing Now" still working for me in v17 here. If you have a license for it, I can help you out with a .dll file that fixes the tooltip issues suffered a few versions back. I only wish J River would make it a part of the default installation already :)
